Website and app development pricing
Projects start at $2,000. Every build is a fixed price for a written scope, after a free 30-minute call; automation and marketing are monthly retainers with no long contract. This is how the number is arrived at, and what it always includes.

How pricing works
- The floor
- Projects start at $2,000. We do not take on work below it, because below it a project cannot be done to the standard the case studies show.
- Builds
- Fixed scope, fixed price, in writing, before anything starts. Websites, storefronts, apps and automations are all quoted this way, after a free 30-minute call and a short audit.
- Retainers
- Automation and marketing run month to month: a flat fee scoped to the channels and the workload, with no long contract. You can stop any month.
- Ad spend
- Never a percentage of it. Media is paid by you, to Google and Meta, in accounts opened in your name. Our fee is for the work, so our incentive is your results, not your spend.
- Hourly billing
- None. Nothing is billed by the hour, and nothing is charged for the first call or the written point of view that follows it.
- After launch
- Every build includes a 30-day optimisation window. Most clients then continue on a retainer for the next feature, the campaigns or the automations.
- Non-profits
- Registered non-profits and charities pay nothing. The floor, the proposal and the retainers above are for businesses; a non-profit applies on the non-profits page and gets the same team and the same standard at no charge.
What moves the number
Three things per chapter. The proposal shows which apply to you, and how we work has the typical timelines.
- 01How many pages and sections, and how many languages
- 02Integrations: booking, CRM, payments, a CMS your team edits
- 03Whether copy, photography and film are written and shot by us
- 01Catalogue size and how many markets and currencies
- 02Integrations: ERP, loyalty, subscriptions, reviews
- 03Migration from an existing theme, with redirects and content
- 01How much of the product the first version has to do
- 02How many systems it has to talk to
- 03Whether mobile needs to be native
- 01Number of conversation types the agent handles
- 02Integrations: CRM, calendar, payments, your database
- 03A single focused flow, or a connected multi-tool system
- 01Channels and campaign types
- 02Landing pages we need to build for the traffic
- 03Tracking and reporting to set up or repair
Always in the price
- Launch checklist
- The launch checklist we run on every site: speed, search readiness, tracking, forms, redirects, accessibility.
- Ownership
- The code, in a repository under your name, and every account opened in your name with us as a collaborator.
- Handover
- A written handover for anything we run for you, so a change of studio never means starting again.
- Weekly check-in
- A weekly check-in where you see the thing, not a status report, and a preview link that updates as we work.
Common questions
Is there a minimum project size?
Yes, $2,000. Everything above it is scoped and quoted in writing at a fixed price, so you see the number before anything starts.
Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?
No. Marketing is a flat monthly retainer scoped to the channels and the workload. Media is paid by you to Google and Meta directly, in your own accounts.
Do you bill by the hour?
No. Builds are a fixed price for an agreed scope; retainers are a flat monthly fee. The first call and the written point of view are free.
Can I start with one thing?
Most projects do: a website, a storefront, an automation or a campaign. The advantage of one team is that the next chapter starts from what already exists instead of from a handover.
Can I stop a retainer?
Any month. There is no long contract, and the handover we write for everything we run means a change of studio never means starting again.
Is there a rate for non-profits or charities?
There is no rate: registered non-profits and charities are built at no charge, under the rules on the non-profits page. The $2,000 floor and everything above it are for businesses.
When do I get the actual number?
Within a week of the first call, in a proposal written as real work: scope, timeline and cost, so you can compare it with anyone else. If your site or store is live, it comes with a short audit of speed, search and the funnel.
