EBSSA Research Center is Sudan’s first private research centre. Founded in Khartoum in 2003 by Dr. Nada Alassad with a group of statisticians, it has run the surveys, statistical analysis and evaluations that UNICEF, the WHO, federal ministries and universities rely on — five years evaluating the Saleema campaign among them — and carries what it learns back into communities through workshops and awareness sessions. After twenty-two years, that record lived in a profile deck, a printed business card and photographs forwarded on WhatsApp. It had no website. Meant built one at no charge.

The site is written by hand in HTML and CSS, no framework, so it opens quickly on the connections its readers actually have. The mark was redrawn as a vector from a photograph of the card. The copy was written from the profile and the founder’s CV: the mission drawn as the two Niles meeting, nine services each with the outputs it leaves behind, the named studies with where, the method and with whom, the field, the community programme, the centre in a ledger and the founder with her ORCID. Arabic is a full second edition, right-to-left in Noto Kufi Arabic and Amiri. Underneath: ResearchOrganization schema, hreflang, a share card, a sitemap and hosting on Vercel, so the partners who commission the work can find it.

EBSSA Research Center is Sudan’s first private research centre, founded in Khartoum in 2003 by Dr. Nada Alassad: surveys, statistical analysis and monitoring and evaluation for UNICEF, the WHO, federal ministries and universities, with the findings carried back into communities. After twenty-two years its record lived in a profile deck, a business card and photographs on WhatsApp. Meant built its first website at no charge: a hand-coded English and Arabic site light enough for the connections its readers have, the logo redrawn as a vector mark from a photograph of the card, the copy written from the profile and the founder’s CV, and the schema, hreflang, share card, sitemap and hosting set up so the partners who commission the work can find it.
