Sedrah Stories is a UAE documentary production company that turns history, culture and heritage into cinema for government, semi-government and private institutions. Meant built a site cut like one of its films: seven chapters on a timecode, a hero of six frames of their own footage that advance as you scroll inside a viewfinder, the method as five stages on one line, the work on a turning drum titled in Arabic and English, and a second frame behind every still that reveals the set — on a Next.js build with Unbounded, Instrument Sans and Amiri.
Sedrah Stories is a UAE documentary production company that turns history, culture and heritage into cinema — research first, then the frame — for government, semi-government and private institutions. Seven films, from The Pledge Day, shot entirely on film, to Sirat Arzag and Wadi Wurayah. The site had to carry that seriousness without becoming a brochure.
So it is cut like one of their films. Seven chapters run on a timecode, from the opening at 00:00:00 to the end of the reel at 00:02:24. The hero is six frames of their own footage that advance as you scroll, inside a viewfinder with the record light on. The method is five stages on one line. The work turns on a drum, each film titled in Arabic and English. And every still has a second frame — drag across it and the set appears behind it: the crew, the light, the camera.
